AET is a vibrant team of individuals who are passionate about the innovative products it offers to the flood defence industry.

We aim to be instrumental in changing the current procedures and mindset surrounding the rapid deployment of flood defence within the UK. Bringing together the aqua-sac® and other innovative products that will give commercial and domestic premises that are at risk of flooding the tools to protect themselves. Our aim is to provide flood defence that is fast and effective and doesn't cost the earth!

Working with partners we plan to promote Business Continuity Management which is essential for any business in the new era of Global warming. Planning for crisis or disaster is a complex science and fundamentally an aspect of management that should not be neglected. We will promote the implementation of BS 25999 which is the new definitive standard for Business Continuity management providing the services necessary to move quickly into areas where needed.

Our Products:

The aqua-sac® s.o.s bag is a  patented design which sets it apart from any competitive products. The unique design concept of aqua-sac® is the central stitch which, when inflated, keeps the aqua-sac® stable. The aqua-sac® weighs 13kg which is light enough to be lifted by anybody and within UK health and safety legislation. It has is own trade mark, and was runner up in the Yorkshire Post Innovation Awards 2008.  

Recently we were given the go ahead to have the Alteau barrier manufactured in the UK under licence. 

Alteau barrier is a flexible, cost effective system enabling rapid deployment to a number of scenarios: 

-as a flood protection barrier

-damming streams for pollution control

-chemical spill containment

-pooling water

-segregating flooded areas for pumping
